The continuous emergence of instruments for rehabilitation and treatment has broken the situation that diagnostic instruments dominate the world. Rehabilitation instruments can be divided into treatment, disability assistance, training, testing, special-purpose, etc. According to the principle, therapy can be divided into physical therapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, music therapy and other types. According to the purpose, the disabled can be divided into limb orthopedics, self-care, personal mobility, environmental control, communication information, special for the blind, special for the deaf and other types. The training category mainly includes fitness equipment equipped with electronic testing instruments and the recently developed virtual reality fitness equipment and systems. There are few special instruments for rehabilitation detection and evaluation, such as gait analyzer. Many of these therapeutic and testing instruments are not dedicated to rehabilitation therapy, but are universal. The following is a brief overview of some rehabilitation instruments.

1. Physiotherapeutic apparatus

The method of using various physical factors such as sound, light, electricity, magnetism, heat, force and biofeedback to act on the body in order to treat and prevent diseases is called physical therapy. 2. Microwave hyperthermia apparatus

Microwave is the general name of decimeter wave, centimeter wave and millimeter wave, and its wavelength range is 0.1~100 cm. Microwave therapeutic apparatus generally adopts two frequencies of 915MHz and 2450MHz, with wavelengths of 32.78cm and 12.25cm respectively. Microwave and other radiation waves have penetration power. For example, the penetration depth of 915MHz microwave can reach 5~7 cm. The higher the frequency, the shallower the penetration depth. Microwave is absorbed and converted into heat energy after it irradiates human tissues.
